Tortorella, James A.

Rochester: April 9, 2013 at age 86. Predeceased by his wife, Theresa "Dolly" (Petrillo); beloved father of Anthony (Patti); devoted grandfather of Jenelle and Stephen; brother of Amadeo (Anita); brother-in-law of Erma and Josephine Tortorella, Millie Petrillo, Ann and Carl Petrillo, Angie Capone, Mafalda and Jack McMullen, Gilda and Joseph DeFranco, Nick Petrillo and Mary Scherzi; many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

James was a WW II Army Veteran and was an avid outdoors man who loved hunting, fishing and golfing.

Friends may call THURSDAY 4-8PM at the Dierna Funeral Home, 2309 Culver Rd. (near Norton). His Funeral Mass will be celebrated FRIDAY 10am at Peace of Christ Parish at St. Ambrose Church. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Richard Constantino and the wonderful staff of 5100 at Rochester General Hospital. Those wishing may make contributions to the Rochester General Hospital Memorial Fund.

Dearest Uncle Jim, We shared allot over the years, but sharing my birthday with you will always be a cherished memory for me. Please give Aunt Dolly a big hug for me. I will always have a smile on my face every November to know my dad has his hunting partner with him again. Danielle, the kids, and myself (Sammy) will love and miss you always.
