James E., Jr.
Brockport: Suddenly, Sept. 14, 2012, Jim Whipple, 38. Survived by his children, William & Amanda; his parents, James & Charlene Whipple; sister, Laurie Williams; grandfather, Harold Ketchum Sr.; the mother of his children, Andrea Whipple; aunts and uncles, Colleen Noble, Larry (Prescila) Bell, Harold Ketchum Jr.; niece & nephew, Emilie & Evan Williams; several cousins, including Larry Bell, Jr.; many friends; and special companion, "Jinx".
Friends are invited to call WED., 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the THOMAS E. BURGER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 735 East Ave., Hilton, where a Service will be held THURSDAY at 11 AM, followed by a Military Graveside Service at Garland Cemetery. Those wishing may make a contribution to the Whipple Children's Education Fund, or to Operation Patriot Foundation, Inc. in Jim's memory.

I am very sorry and send my deepest condolences of the loss of Jim. He was a great man, leader and friend. Jim was my Platoon Leader in Afghanistan 2004-2005. I am also terribly sorry that I couldn't attend the calling hours or funeral because I am just learning of this tragic loss as of now, it is a VERY SAD day for me in learning this today. To the entire Whipple family I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers, and may Jim rest in the arms of God at peace.

To the Whipple Family,
My heart sank last weekend when I heard the news. I have thought about Jim all day today wishing I could be there for the funeral. He has always had a place in my heart. He was an amazing person with a huge heart and a great sense of humor. I will miss him so much. My prayers are with you.
