Janice Bachofer Obituary
Rochester - Passed away April 21, 2019. Survived by her son Donald "Don" A. Shafer; cousins and many dear friends. Jan was a docent at the Seneca Park Zoo for 11 years, and worked for NYS Dept. of Education as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor as well as at Eastman Kodak in the Synthetic Chemical Division.
Graveside service will be held at Riverside Cemetery (2650 Lake Ave.) on WEDNESDAY at 10 AM. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the main entrance to the cemetery at 9:45 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Post Polio Health International, 4207 Lindell Blvd. #110, St. Louis, MO 63108-2915 or The Seneca Zoo Society, 2222 St. Paul St., Roch., NY 14621.
