Joanne Greene-Colon Obituary
Rochester: Monday, December 16, 2013. Survived by her husband, Louis; 7 year old son, Daniel and her new born daughter, Sara Sofia; mother, Ana Maria Cotto-Perez; sister, Myrna Rivera; and many relatives and friends. Joanne was in love with Jesus. She was an amazing wife and mother. Joanne was also an influential leader in the Church, school and community. The most important thing in Joanne's life was God's Kingdom and now she is by His side.
Friends may call Friday 4-7PM at Pearce Memorial Church, 4322 Buffalo Rd., N. Chili. Funeral Service Saturday 10:30AM at the Church. Interment N. Chili Rural Cemetery. Donations may be made for the benefit of her children c/o Louis Colon, 206 Longview Terrace, Roch., 14609.

Daniel, Sara, and Louis ~ a strand of three is not easily broken. Through adversity, death, heartache ~ I pray you are flooded with beautiful, lasting memories of your mother/wife. She radiated joy and a commitment to her faith that was infectious. I pray that her spirit is ever-present. She gave her all, literally… and her work on earth is complete. Many others will come alongside you… and I know it's not the same… but it will be the body of Christ holding you up and to that end, we commit to pray for you and your needs daily. Love you all! Sometimes we don't understand why bad things happen to good people. But what we do understand is what they meant to us and how much we will treasure what we learned from them and the private and public moments we shared with them. I am sorry for your loss. Joanne was truly a joyful noise, and we are deeply saddened by her loss. She was one of the most gracious and loving friends I've ever had, and I will miss her very much.

I have very fond memores of Joanne as a fellow Christian, and as a colleague in the ministry of our Lord Jesus Christ. I will never forget her pastoral demeanor and her great teaching abilities. Thank the Lord for her life. To the family of Joanne and her husband Louis I say, we mourn her passing and celebrate her legacy.

Louis and family my heartaches for you all we know that has gain another angel even though we don't know why but only god has that answer. I am glad that me and reynld have had the honor to meet such a beautiful young lady who had a heart and that smile of gold. I remember her preaching of the word whuch were always so powerful. I love you guys. So much and wish there was more I can do. Hugs and blessings to you and your precious babies. Am here abd will be here when and if you need it. God bless you
