JoEll has been a part of my life since I was a toddler. We grew up on Briar Lane together with so many wonderous memories from experiences (way too many to share here) that I am sure had an important part in shaping our lives. I am very glad that I have an artwork from her first gallery opening in Rochester. It's hung prominently on our main stairway so I will have a little bit of JoEll always here with me. My deepest condolences along with more than fond, happy memories.

There are so many wonderful memories as we grew up together on Briar Lane. We were a close knit clan-Joell, Susie, sister Ann and me-Marie. Sledding in our back yard on Mr. Merkles farm for hours, drawing in our basement, hiking in the grape vineyard and pine tree forest, slumber parties where we stayed up all night talking and eating our favorite things. We all liked to cook so from childfood to adulthood good food ,family and friends were key.We are all who we are today because of our experiences and close frienship for all those years. I am sad to loose my beautiful special friend but joyous that she is not in pain anymore. Patrick, Sabrina and Danica- I cherish the memories of your Christmas trip to Colorado- Love you. To the Mileo and Cunningham families I send my love and tears from Colorado.

I loved to be in her company, and we always laughed and had fun! My very deepest prayers to all of JoEll's family, especially to Patrick and her daughters, whom she loved so very deeply. I was very saddened to hear the news about Joell. Our mothers, Jane, and Sue Virgilio were very good friends and we were together at family gatherings often as children. Those were wonderful times for us growing up. My heart goes out to Joell's entire family at this time. May your memories of times with her sustain you now and in the future. With love, Andrea Virgilio Cotter, [email protected]
