John Kennedy was one of the kindest men we've ever known. We treasure the friendship that we shared with him and send our love to his beautiful wife Kate, whom he adored.
He will be missed greatly and remain in our hearts forever.
Sincerely,

My sincere sympathy to ALL of John's family and especially to Kathy. I feel sure you have great memories. I remember John when we were small children
in the summertime in Middlesex and playing on Uncle Roy's & Aunt Bessie's farm and at the Meadowbrook cottage on Canandaigua Lake. Such fond memories.

John introduced me to my wonderful husband. We shared an incredible summer with John in 1975 on the farm - the memories will always be with Jim and me. Our thoughts and prayers are with John and his family.

I met John at the U of R and later knew him in Naples, NY. He was a lot of fun and I remember his smile very clearly although I have not seen him since the 70's. I envy his family to have had him nearby for all these years. John handled the separation of my husband and myself, and it was my ex-husband who let me know of John's passing. I am sad today, for a spirit that I once knew and liked, has left this earth. May he find joy in the afterlife. My heart is with his family.

I had the pleasure of knowing John all the way back to our college days together at the U of R. Janet has known him since 1970. He was indeed one of the most decent and honorable persons we have ever known, with a wonderful sense of humor and sharp, dry wit.
We hope Kate and all his family can take some comfort knowing how much John was loved and respected by so many whose lives he has touched through the years. He will be greatly missed.

My sincere sympathy to all the family at this time. My memories of John are from many years, growing up in Middlesex, his parents and grandparents were part of the fabric of that small town. That background served him well. May good memories carry the family through this time of sorrow.

I've known John since I was a small child. He was always kind to me. I could see right away that he was someone you could trust, it poured out of him. He shared that with me when I was eventually able to babysit his children. He will be missed in the legal community as well. He could always be counted on to handle any situation with integrity and honesty. He was a friend and colleague and I will miss him.

I am deeply saddened by John's passing. My family and I feel a tremnedous loss. John was a great friend. We have such wonderful memories of the many good times we shared over the years. "The Counselor" was there for us each time we needed his advice or help with some "legal" issue (I am using a very expansive definition of "legal" as there was nothing he wouldn't do to help us). Words cannot express the sorrow we are all feeling today. We send Kate and the kids our heartfelt sympathy. God Bless.

We have known John for so long. He was a kind gentleman and to have is life end so soon.
I enjoyed him as a teacher, back in the day. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family, friends and the "family" that works at the office. He will be deeply missed.

John was a wonderful man. I valued his advice as an attorney, but valued his humanity and friendship much more. I am sad about his passing, and send deepest and sincerest sympathies to Kate, family and dear friends.
