Milton’s cousins in Ireland, Northern Ireland and England are saddened to learn of his passing. We are his cousins on his mother’s side of the family and whereas you will have known him as John or Milt, to us he was always Milton.
Some of us remember with fondness his visit to Ireland and the UK as a young man, others has the pleasure of visiting him, Betty and John in Rochester. Although separated by distance, the bonds of family remained strong and we enjoyed telephone conversations and the exchange of cards and letters, especially at Christmas.
We will miss ‘our American cousin’ and extend our sympathy and thanks to his neighbours and friends whose help and kindness he appreciated so much.
