José Puente Obituary
Puente, José R.
Clemmons, North Carolina: Tuesday October 13, 2009, at the age of 84. Predeceased by his wife of 58 years, Eugenia L Puente, and two sons Raúl Puente and Steven Puente.
José was born in Havana, Cuba and came to the United States at age 19 to attend college. He graduated from the University of Rochester with degrees in Chemical Engineering and Business Administration. He was Vice President of Voplex Manufacturing for ten years and then started his own business, Puente Plastics Corp.
He is survived by his sister; Martha Montes, his children; Richard (Ilene) Puente, Patricia (Roy) Davidson, Lou Ann (Daniel) Star, Alicia Puente, Martin Puente, Thomas Puente, and John (Annette) Puente, as well as his grandchildren; Caridad Puente, Ross Davidson, Sean Davidson, Rachel Star, Laura Star, Ashley Puente, Angela Puente, Heather Puente, Lauren Puente, and Isabella Puente.
Family and friends may call Sunday, October 18, from 3-6 PM at the funeral chapel, 2305 Monroe Ave. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes, 150 Varinna Dr. on Monday, October 19 at 10:00 AM. Interment at White Haven Memorial Park. To light a candle visit www.anthonychapels.com.

To all the children of Jose, We are good friends of Patti and Roy and we had the honor of watching them care for your father in his last years. They cared and provided for your father amazingly and it was an inspiring to observe. We have been able to know Martin and have met Alicia and John and send our deepest sympathies to all of you.
