Rochester: April 10, 2012 He is predeceased by his parents Will and Daisy Searles. He is survived by his son Joseph Searles Jr.; daughters Vanecia Hughes, Kimberly (John) Searles-Parker; 2 brothers , 5 sisters, granddaughter Aubrey M. Welch and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation Saturday, 10 AM- 11AM (service to begin 11AM)at the funeral home 109 West Avenue. Interment at the convenience of the family.

To the family and friends of our dear brother Joe Searles, may God grant you his perfect peace, strength and comfort during your time of need. I'm confident that our dear brother Joe is enjoying the comfort of that mansion which was prepared for us all by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, where there is no more pain or sorrow just pure joy and happiness. We all loved Joe very much and will miss him but he is in a far better place now. May God Bless you all.

my heartfelt condolences to the Joseph Searles family for the loss of their husband, father, grandfather, cousin and friend. I never met Joseph Sr, but I know his son to be a fine man who works tirelessly for the betterment of our community. Such commendable attributes come from good parenting and mentoring. Thank you.
