Webster: Sun., April 25, 2010, age 19. He leaves his parents, Lisa (Kevin Siegl) Young and Tarn (Carrie Roy) Young; siblings, Kevin (Jessica) Young, Codey Young, Zachary Roy, Kaitlynn Young and Christian Schultz; grandparents, Bruce and Ruth Orlick; great-grandmothers, Jean Nau, Evelyn Kennedy and Geraldine Ryan; several aunts, uncles and cousins; dear friends; beloved dog, Smokey.
Friends may call 4-8 PM Wed. at Willard H. Scott Funeral Home, 12 South Ave., Webster. Mass of Christian Burial, 10:00 AM Thurs. at Holy Trinity Church, 1460 Ridge Rd., Webster. Interment, Webster Union Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Humane Society at Lollypop Farm.

I'll miss you man. I want to go through tackling drills with you again, you always hit the hardest. This feels so unreal. I feel like i'll come back to Webster and run in to you one of these days. I miss you man.

Young family,
I know there are no words to take away the pain you feel, or reverse this unthinkable loss. I pray that you take comfort in the Lord though and know that He is caring for Joe. Joe is and will continue to live on in my memory as an amazing person. His sense of humor and genuine care for others could brighten the worst of moods. Joe had a beautiful soul and I was blessed to call him my friend. He was often the reason I looked forward to classes in high school; he made them bearable. Missing Joe doesn't even begin to describe how we all feel. Know that God rests in reason and He loves you, Young family, trust in Him. You'll continue to be in my prayers.

I can't express how sorry I am for your loss. I went to school with Joe and became friends with him some time later, just by running into each other. He was such a genuinely good person and always fun to be around. Joe.. I remember what you said to help me during that phone conversation, and now that means even more.. I know you are at peace. I'll always love and remember you~

Joe you will be deeply missed. I have known you for most of your life starting with Elementary school at Klem North. I remember us sitting together during our lunch periods and then playing together during recess. Then when we went onto Middle School, we had Technology together with Mr.Romano where he would call you "Mighty Joe Young." I also remember our sleep-overs in middle school where we would stay up and play James Bond on PS2 all night with the rest of our friends for hours. Then i remember when we went to high-school where we had English together with Mrs.Brenna. We had some really good times in that class together. Some of my favorite times together with you Joe was when you and the rest of the guys would come over and play poker for hours on end. I remember no matter how long we played, it was always a good time. But you will be missed Joe and it will not be the same without you here with us.

To "big" Kevin, Lisa and Kevin,
While we only knew eachother briefly through my daughter Aubrey, I want you to know how terribly sorry I am that Joe left you. My heart goes out to you and to the other young people who feel they can't go on. I will try to make a contribution to Lollypop on behalf of Joe and his dog Smokey.
