Webster: August. 8, 2015 Age 76. Predeceased by her husband Michael & son Stephen. Survived by children Michael Grasta and Karen (Keith) Kijowski, grandchildren Gina, Michael, Hannah & Trevor, brothers Peter (Mary Anne) and Samuel (Ann Marie) Nicchitta, many nieces & nephews.
Calling Thursday 4-8 PM at Falvo Funeral Home 1295 Fairport Nine Mile Point Rd.Webster (rte.250).On Friday at 10 AM. please meet the family at Holy Trinity Church (1460 Ridge Rd. Webster) for the celebration of her funeral mass.In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Childrens Hospital. Interment Holy Sepulchre

Josie was the most selfless caring person I have ever known. I am forever grateful to have known such a beautiful soul. When people ask who she is it never felt right saying she was my babysitter because she was so much more, she was Josie.
Every time I hear the words Marco Polo it brings me back to her house (pool), ever time I see that 1 inch lined beginner paper it brings me to her kitchen table and the countless hours I spent learning how to write.She loved to talk and people loved talking to her it was minimally a half hour phone conversation and you never ran out of topics to talk about.
Just being in her presence made you feel like everything was going to be alright. She was always there, no judgement, no harsh words or discipline. Josie had a smile that could brighten up the worst of days. She will be greatly missed. Rest in peace Josie. My condolences go out to her family and friends.
