Judith Mattern Obituary

Judith A. Mattern

Rochester - October 27, 2018. Born May 28, 1945 in Rochester, NY. Predeceased by her parents Willard and Violet Mattern.

Survived by her sister Janet (Dennis) Koslicki; nieces Barbara (Paul) Maurer, Julie (Joe) Commisso, Matthew Dupre (Jude Dunn), Carrie (Jonathan) Smith; 10 great-nieces and nephews and 4 great-great nephews; her best friend Anne (Ian) McAndrew and Goddaughter Jeanette (Matthew) Crumptom, all of England.

Judy was a devoted aunt who spoiled her nieces and nephews at every opportunity. She was witty, fun-loving and an avid Yankees fan. She loved to travel, and in the last decade, most of her travel was to attend concerts of her favorite band, The Moody Blues. Autographed pictures of her and the band were some of her favorite things, which could be found in every room in her home.

There will be no calling hours, but friends are invited to join the family at White Haven Memorial Park (Pittsford, NY) on Thursday, November 1st at 2 pm for a service and interment.

In lieu of flowers, kindly consider donations to Golisano Children's Hospital.
