Lawrence Moon Obituary

On May 28, 2010, with his family by his side. Born: Italy, NY on October 2, 1922. Survived by his loving wife Doris of 68 years and his four children, Lawrence C. (Sharon) Moon Jr. of Madison, CT, Richard (Linda) Moon of Henrietta, NY, Anne (William) Rife of Irondequoit, NY, John Moon of Kingston, NY; 12 Grand-children; 14 Great-Grandchildren; 2 Great-Great-Grandchildren; brother Clyde (Elsie) Moon of The Villages, FL; sister Helen Bailey of Marion, NY.
Graduated from Prattsburg High Class of 1941. He went on to graduate from Fredonia State Teachers College, in 1951, with a degree in Music Education. Served in the Army Air Corps during WWII.
Family and friends are invited to call at Miller Funeral Homes, Inc. (3325 Winton Road South) on Wednesday from 3:00 - 5:00 & 7:00 - 9:00PM. Lawrence's funeral service will be celebrated in the First Presbyterian Church of Pittsford (21 Church Street) on Thursday at 10:00 AM, with a reception immediately following the service. Interment Private. In lieu of flowers, friends may contribute to the American Lung Assn. in his memory. For directions or to leave an email of condolence please visit:
