Leona Wallace Obituary
Warsaw: Age 94, formerly of Wallace Rd., Peoria, NY on Sept. 21, 2012. She was predeceased by her former husband, Allen Wallace; her son, Robert Wallace; siblings, Esther Bradley, Doris (Bob) Simpson, Stewart (Doris) Bradley.
Survived by her daughters, Barbara Truax of Scottsville, Lois (David) Templeton of Wadsworth; her son, Donald (Christine) Wallace of Peoria; 8 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Monday 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 at Robinson & Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 N. Main St., Warsaw where a service will be held Tuesday at 10:30 AM. Interment Fairview Cemetery, Pavilion Center. Memorials may be made to Covington Presbyterian Church, 1701 Craig Rd., Pavilion, NY 14525 or Fairview Cemetery Association, 7289 Telephone Rd., LeRoy, NY 14482. I am so sorry to hear of Leona"s passing. I was a trooper at the Geneseo station for nearly all the time she worked there--she never came in that she didn't bring in something for the "boys" and later on the girls also--cookies,bread,fudge,etc.She was a genuine sweetheart.
