Linda Metcalfe Obituary
(Converse) (Kubarycz)
Irondequoit: The angels came for our beautiful wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, sister and friend after 57 short years. Cherished and beloved wife of Robert, mother to her favorite daughter, Dawn (Joe Indovina) Antonelli; favorite son, Matthew(Christine) Kubarycz; and the baby favorite, Shane Metcalfe. She was Nana to her beautiful girls, Brittany Lynne Antonelli, Julia & Madison Kubarycz; and her special boy, Cameron Antonelli. Precious daughter to Margaret Converse; Sister to Denis, Gary, Robert, and James(Betsy) Converse. Predeceased by her father Eldon "Al" Converse and her brother Richard Converse. She fought her battle of cancer with courage and dignity with her loving family beside her daily.
Her family will receive friends SUNDAY 1-5 pm at the funeral home, where her memorial service will be held MONDAY 11:00 AM. Interment Private. Memorials may be directed to American Cancer Society, 6725 Lyons St., PO Box 7, E. Syracuse, NY 13057, Visiting Nurse Serivce, 2180 Empire Blvd., Webster, NY 14580, or Palliative Cancer Center at St. Anne's Home, 1550 Portland Ave, Roch, NY 14621.

Bob,Peggy,Dawn,Matt,Shane,The kids,my special boy, and the entire family. Words cannot begin to express our the sadness we feel for you at this time. Her little body was weak and, Our Lord called her to come and live in his garden. Linda was our neighbor and friend. Our memories of sitting in the dining room so many nights, the laughter, the fires, and of course our wine. We loved Christmas decorating and sharing cookies. You touched our lives and our hearts, Linda and you will never be forgotten, You are free now and your spirit is with God and the angels. We will see you again one day. We love you.

Dear Bob,
I am so very sorry to hear of the loss of your beautiful wife. I know it has been a struggle for her and all who loved her the past few years, but there is nothing that can ever prepare you for the evident.
I remember how lovingly you would speak of your wife, and I hope that you and your family will find comfort in knowing she is in the arms of Jesus and will find eternal peace. God bless you and your family in this very difficult time and find strength through the lord our savior.
