(VanLeuvan)
Irondequoit: February 19, 2017. Lois was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend to many. Lois enjoyed playing golf, bridge and traveling with family and friends. Predeceased by her parents, Nile & Clara VanLeuvan; brother, Nile VanLeuvan. Lois is survived by her husband, Jack Buttino; sister, Claire Higgins; children, Lynn (Greg) Sullivan, Elaine (Lafe) Pelissier, John (Lynne) Buttino, William (Jennifer) Buttino and Annmarie (Thomas) Young; grandchildren, Christine (Sean) O'Connor, Kathleen (Anthony) Creighton, Timothy (Brenna) Siverd, Mitchell & Chloe Pelissier, Joseph & Emma Buttino, Ryan & William Buttino, Celia & Cydney Young; great-grandchildren,

Lois's visitation will be held 2-4 & 7-9 PM on Thursday at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated 9:30 am on Friday at St. Margaret Mary at St. Kateri Parish, 401 Rogers Parkway. Interment will be held at the family's convenience. Donations may be directed to the American Heart Association, PO Box 3049, Syracuse, NY 13220-3049 or the Seneca Park Zoo, 2222 St. Paul St, Rochester NY 14621 in Lois's memory.

My deepest sympathy to Lois' family- I knew Lois from a weekly gathering of ladies Time Out for Women many years ago. I remembered how I always thought how pretty Lois was and always dressed well. She had such a nice manner, so sweet and friendly. I felt very sad reading of her passing.
