Mrs McClure and Arnold were neighbors of our family for over 40 years living across the street at 167 Elmore. You could'nt ask for better folks!! I watched the house when Mrs. M went to Harvard
They both saw my 2 children grow up. When she decided to make the move to Valley Manor i purchased the house for my son and grandson. My grandson loved the house and graduated from Brighton h.s. in 2018 playing varsity football all thru h.s.and is plaing football at Alfred University. The loss of your mom hit our family very hard. Lucky to have a great mom we also lucky to have such a great friend!! God Bless her.

Lucretia's family ~ I worked at the University of Rochester Medical Center for many years and saw Lucretia almost daily, although I did not know Lucretia well, she was a very pleasant person and I felt to send a note... Lucretia's career says what a well respected individual she was. May her career leave to many a legacy of her knowledge. To you her family, tucked into pages is her library of (ove she gives close within your hearts.

Lucretia, or "G", as she liked me to call her was my inspiration for life long study. She gave me the confidence to return to school in my middle age just as she had done. She was the dedicated and doting grandmother to my son Jonathon. Each week for decades, she sent sweet notes to him. Jonathon saved almost every card from the first, until the day he left home for university. 'G' helped to develop Jon's love for reading, and he was a voracious reader! Her favorite children's book, 'Jenny and the cat club', became our household favorite as well. I sent my last hand written letter to 'G' 8 days ago. How I will miss writing to her.
