My heart felt condolences to the family. I didn't know him or his family. That day, I drove by the scene of the accident right after it happened, not knowing who he was my mother and I said a prayer for him and his family. My husband happens to be a military member from NY as well. May you find peace and comfort in all the wonderful memories he left in you.

Dear Bob and Mary Ellen,

Danielle and I can't imagine the enormous grief that you are experiencing to have lost a child, especially a son as wonderful as Matt. The times we met Matt on our occasional cross border family get-togethers, it was obvious to us what a fine son he was and what a terrific relationship you had with him and how proud you were to be his parents. He will certainly be sorely missed.

Our most sincere condolences,

Charles (Bob's Canadian cousin) and wife Danielle
