I came across Maureen about 20 years ago, due to her being on the Garnet Rogers Yahoo group. Her sister and her, wanted to come down to Alexandria, VA. from Lockport, NY to Garnet Rogers of Canada, as I know they were friends. My wife and I were going to that concert and I offered to pick them up at the hotel they were staying overnight, to the venue. I lost being in touch with Maureen, as I know she adopted a boy to be her son.
We have a nice evening with Maureen and her sister who was a nurse, I think.

We are so very sorry to learn about Maureen, a year after her passing. She was an extraordinary lady. Many of us from Golden Link remember her fondly.

I am saddened to hear of Maureen's passing. I first met Maureen in 1982. She was enthusiastic about folk music thru the Golden Link at that time. Rest In Peace now Maureen you are reunited with your soul sister Barbara Ann.
