Michael DiPonzio Obituary
Rochester: Monday, December 23, 2013, at age 87. Predeceased by his wife, Mary (Saurini) DiPonzio. He is survived by his wife, Marie (Marrocco) DiPonzio; children, Bonnie (Bill) Rozinski, Michael DiPonzio, Patricia (Jeffrey) Mock; stepdaughters, Carol Ann (Vito) Dentino, Tricia (Steve) Re; 3 grandchildren; 5 step grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; brother, Nick DiPonzio of FL; sister, Jeannette (Joseph) D'Ambrosia; several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Michael was a retiree of the US Postal Service and an Army Veteran of WWII.
Friends may call FRIDAY from 3-7PM at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Road, Gates. On Saturday, December 28, friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass at 9:30 in St. John Evangelist Church (Humboldt St.). Interment, private. in lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Leo Center for Caring, 1500 Portland Ave., Rochester, NY 14621 in his memory.
