Michael Petitto Obituary

Petitto, Michael P.
Irondequoit: July 3, 2008 at age 90. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Genevieve; 3 children, Carolyn (Lawrence) Shear, Robert Petitto and John Petitto, M.D. (Virginia Petitto, M.D.); 6 grandchildren and sisters-in-law, Constance Iaia and Amelia Petitto. Mike was a graduate of The University of Rochester, an employee of the U.S. Postal Service and a public accountant. He was a devoted Catholic with a strong faith in God, a member of the Knights of St. John and was involved in a number of volunteer ministries throughout his life.
Friends may call Wednesday 5-8 PM at the Dierna Funeral Home, 2309 Culver Rd. (near Norton). His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday 10:30 AM at Peace of Christ Parrish at St. Ambrose Church. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
