"Michael"
Webster: Monday, May 18, 2009, at age 86. He is survived by his daughter, Rosalba (John) Pisaturo; son, Salvatore (MaryJo) Farace; grandchildren, Nicole and Renee Pisaturo, David (Kelly) Farace of NC, Lisa (Jeff Bresnei) Farace of MD, Sal Farace; sisters, Sister Ernesta Nicefora, RSM, Maria Anemone both of Italy; sister-in-law, Vincenzina Farace of Italy; many nieces and nephews.
Michele was born in Altavilla Milicia (PA) Italy in 1923. He served in the Italian Air Force as a reconnaissance photographer during WWII. Following his military service, he became a member of the Italian State Police. In 1965, he immigrated to the United States. Michele then worked for Delco Products for 17 years until his retirement in 1984. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Webster Seniors Club. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and a fine craftsman who enjoyed many artistic hobbies such as woodworking, painting and sculpting. Michele was a devoted father and grandfather and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Friends may call FRIDAY from 4-8PM at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Road, Gates. On Saturday morning, May 23, friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass at 10:00 in St. Jude's Church, 4100 Lyell Rd. Interment, private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to St. Jude Children's Hospital, PO Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN, 38148-0142 in his memory.
