Noel Parcells Obituary
Rochester: Went to play in Heaven with her sister Mia on Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at age 10. She is survived by her mother, Raechel Coffey (Mohamed); grandmothers, Theresa Coffey and Dorothy Thayer; step-mother Marcie Cobb; step-grandmothers Jeri Cobb and Patricia McDonald; grandfathers, Phillip Parcells and Jim Cobb; great-grandmother, Arlene; and siblings, Anna, Arlene, and Aaron.
Friends may call Sunday, 7-9pm at the funeral home of ALVAH HALLORAN & SON, 2125 Chili Ave. Funeral Mass, Monday, 9:30am at St. Boniface Church, 330 Gregory St. Interment, Mt. Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Friends of Noel, c/o Kearns Center, P.O. Box 270415, Rochester, NY 14627. The following is a poem that Noel recently wrote describing herself: "Hello my name is, Noel - Imaginative, Creative, Special, Unique, Daughter of Raechel. Lover of art, music, freedom. Who feels passionate for art, excitement and dancing, sorrow for homeless people. Who fears death, cars and airplanes. Who would like to see an eclipse, outer space and the world. Resident of Rochester."

I am so sorry for your loss my son Jake was in Noel's class last yr and he was very sad to learn of the tragedy. I remember seeing her laugh and have a great time at field day last yr, and on the walking trip to Abbott's with the class. She will be missed and never forgotten. I have been reading about this all week and so very sad for your loss. She was a Beautiful Little girl and reminds me of my Daughter and how I would feel even though I am originally from Hilton and never knew Noel or her sister it made my heart just Drop!

I personally don't know either family also, but upon reading what happened to those two precious girls really hit me and I cannot fathom the pain the mothers are going through. I just wanted to say that I am so sorry for the tragic loss that you are going through and you have many friends, family and even strangers supporting you to tell you that God is with you during this tragic loss. I do noot personally know either family but am a mother of two. I could not imagian what the families are going though. This story hurt a lot of people and the whole community is saddened by this. When this story first came out I was shocked and saddened by it. Those two little angels are now together wrapped in God's loving arms. Even though I did not know these angels personally I wanted to offer to you my deepest sympathy for your loss. May God Bless you and take comfort in knowing that these two sisters are together in heaven as they were here on earth. And I'm sure Noel is watching out for little sister Mia.

I only knew Noel for a short time & enjoyed our little facebook chats since the wedding. She was a very sweet girl (with a great singing voice) She made everyone laugh & smile with her outgoing personality. I didnt really know her well but I miss her. There are no words to comfort you or make you feel better right now but with time it'll hurt a little less each day. Cherish the memories and itll help you.

i am so sorry for the loss of your baby, i didnt know her well. she used to call my home to talk to my son niko. she seemrd so sweet, if he wasnt home she would just start conversation with me and ask how my day was going. he also took the news as very shocking and he wanted to send condolences but was afraid to go... god bless your baby and god bless you. we will keep you in our prayers..

You shared my name. I watched you being born & I did not think I was ready to be a Grandma, but you stole my heart!! I so enjoyed our shopping trips & our trip to Seabreeze (even though I did get bruises from the waterslides!!) I am so thankful that we were able to be together the day before and the day of your Uncle David's wedding. That was the last time I was able to hug & kiss you but I will see you again and I will give you the biggest hug and kiss! Grandpa-Bird's heart is broken as is mine. I am so glad that you were saved at Camp Li-Lo-Li this summer!The Parcells side of the family is setting up a scholarship in yours & Mia's name so other children can go there like you did & possibly be saved. Raechel I know at this time nothing will comfort you nor will your empty hole be filled. You were a great friend to my son and I know he loved you. I remember when Noel was born Nick was so happy for you. I am sure he was waiting at the gate to welcome them into heaven. Everytime I thought that he was alone I remembered how much he loved to dance and that he'd be dancing with Jesus. I know that Noel and Mia are now dancing with Nick. I was Noel's school bus driver most every morning when she attended early band at Village Elementary. While it was very early when she boarded the bus, she always was so polite and made a little small talk. At the end of the ride, Noel would always wish me a good day. Raechel, be very proud of Noel......I enjoyed her company and will miss her dearly!
