Norma Bryar Obituary

Bryar, Norma J.

Bradenton, FL: Age 89 passed away suddenly on December 9th. She was born in Rochester, New York, the daughter of Max and Mildred Krause on December 20, 1923. She was a resident of Geneseo, NY and Bradenton FL. Norma was witty and contemporary and loved cooking, baking "Grandma cookies" and hosting family gatherings on Conesus Lake. She was predeceased by her husband Wesley J. "Bus" Bryar and is survived by her 5 children, Judy Sullivan of DE, Richard Bryar of Summerland Key, FL, William Bryar (Cheryl) of Ormond Beach, FL, Jean Trescott of Geneseo, NY, Betsy Beers (Thomas) of Gainesville, FL; 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and many dear friends.

A celebration of her life was held on December 14 at the Palma Sola Harbour condominium in Bradenton. A second life celebration is planned in Geneseo after she is laid to rest by her husband's side in Lakeview Cemetery in Groveland NY. Memorials may be made to the Lifeline E.A.R.S program at Noyes Hospital or the Geneseo Ambulance Corps.

Jean, Betsy, Judy, Bill, and Dick.... Your mom was just great! She was always warm, welcoming, and lots of fun. I'm so glad she was able to see my mom before she died ....she was one of my mom's longest and favorite friends. I'm sorry for your loss. Nancy (Nowak) Rutherford
