Norman Krause Obituary
Rush, NY - Loving husband, father and grandfather died peacefully at home surrounded by his family on March 11, 2018 at age 77. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Norma (Caverly) Krause; sons, John Krause, Jim Krause, Norman Jr. (Julie) Krause; grandchildren, Joshua, Noah, Carter, Lydia; brother, John Krause Jr.; several sisters-in-law & brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Norm graduated from Monroe High School in 1959 and the Electrical Workers Local No. 86 Apprentice Program in 1966. He was an Electrician with Local 86 for 55 years. For more information about Norm, visit www.bartolomeo.com.
Norm's visitation will be on Wednesday, March 14, from 4-8 pm at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane between Rte. 390 & Long Pond Rd. His funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, March 15 at 10 am at St. Marianne Cope Parish at St. Joseph's Church in Rush, NY, 1209 Rush Lima Rd. Rush, NY 14543. Interment in Brininstool Cemetery, Erie Station Rd. West Henrietta.
Norm was always helping others so in lieu of flowers, please do something for a relative, friend or stranger.

I worked with Norm briefly at Kodak on a large movie film machine installation project and had a high regard for his leadership ability and skill.

Almost 40 years ago, I worked under Norm as an Electrician's Apprentice.
Norm was wonderfully kind, patient, and instructive. He took the time to explain things, in a gentle yet humorous manner. I never forgot him for the impression he left on me, even years later, when I trained apprentices myself. I had recently even looked for him on Facebook (unsuccessfully) after all these years, wondering how he was doing.
Thanks Norm, for the lasting impression, and setting an example on how to be kind to others.

Norm will be dearly missed in the neighborhood. I loved to listen to all his stories and all his helpful tips on just about everything. Heaven will be his new garden
