Orlo was born and was a lifelong resident of Williamson. He attended Williamson High School and was a charter member of the National Honor Society, graduating in 1944. Following high school, he joined the U.S. Navy taking basic training at the Sampson Naval Base. He proudly served his country during WWII.

Orlo loved to spend time with his family and friends especially when camping or when taking senior citizen trips.

Orlo's mission in life was stated to his family that he wished to make someone laugh every day. Anyone that knew Orlo, knows that he fulfilled that wish.

My Dad, Vince Poray, has lost a great friend with Orlo's passing. I was so happy to have gotten to know Orlo earlier this year, and understand the love & appreciation my father and the Williamson community feels for him. Peace be upon you all.

Was sorry to hear of Orlo's passing. When I moved to Williamson 4 years ago , Orlo was the first of my neighbors to walk over an introduce himself. He was very friendly and always had something humorous to say. I would see him out eating breakfast every so often and we would catch up on the neighborhood gossip. I have come to realize over the years, especially lately, just how many people knew and cared about him. He was a wealth of knowledge about Williamson and will be missed greatly. My thoughts go out to his family.
