I miss my brother Patrick every single day. He was my best friend. I miss talking to him in our own language, which was movie quotes from the movies of our childhood. I also miss him making fun of my sucky Bill's, as he would say, and keeping me appraised of all of the football news going on. He would always come with me when I came up with a crazy idea like going to the beach in the middle of winter or going downtown on a really windy day to take pictures of the aquaduct. He leaves behind an incredible legacy of the children in our family. He loved his nieces and nephews as if they were his own children. He knew how to just have fun with them at their level and loved them unconditionally. He felt and loved everyone and everything very passionately. He was extremely well read in Eastern Philosophy, which is not something many people knew and he loved to read the dictionary. He loved his video games from childhood to adulthood and craved a good strong cup of coffee always. There was nothing he would not do for his family! Patrick was a wonderful brother to me and I was blessed to have him in my life and in my son Ryan's life. I am sure that Ryan will cherish his memories of 3 of us grabbing lunch at Dogtown and being silly together. They were more like brothers than Uncle and Nephew. They had a bond that until this day has not been broken. Ryan talks about his Uncle constantly and misses him all of the time. He brought some thing special to our lives that could never be replaced by anything else. I will always make sure that his memory is carried on throughout our family with stories and pictures. Patrick you will remain forever in my heart because you are a part of it. I love you so much and miss you! God Bless you and keep you!

My favorite memory was playing Wii with Uncle Pat and I really miss that, but now I can do it at home, but it was more fun with him. Another great memory was when we would run around in our underwear together at Nana's yelling Freedom! I will miss him very much and always remember him!

Patrick will be Loved and Missed always. He was the light of my fathers eyes(uncle Mike). My favortie memory of Pat was when he came to california 2005. We took him to the beach,he asked if he could roll up his pants a play in the ocean. He was like a big kid splashing and playing in the water... What a great time.. We Love You Patrick

God bless your family through this hard time. Pat was a great friend of mine through high school. We were not the "perfect students", especially the April of 1990 when we left school early to play volleyball at the beach and 2 news crews were there filming us when we should have been at school. I will miss Pat.

I had the pleasure of working with Pat at the Pittsford Chase-Pitkin store. I haven’t seen Pat in long time, although Pat was somebody who left a very special memory with everybody he knew. I will remember those great days at CP working together in the yard cleaning up after long days laughing and joking around Those were some good times, his laugh and his huge smile can easily remind us of Pat.

I have known Pat since 2001, and I can't even begin to remember all the great times we've had. From our days of throwing fertilizer bags at Chase Pitkin to seeing our first major league baseball game at Fenway in Boston, he and I shared experiences that only two best friends could. Especially our trip to Vancouver in 2004- a trip that changed my life forever and was the motivation for my move to the northwest. I am thankful I was able to see him one last time before he passed, and I am deeply saddened to know that was the last time we would share a laugh. I will miss his smile, his quick wit and his endless knowledge of sports, but most of all, I will miss his friendship. Goodbye old friend. I hope someday, somewhere, we will meet again.

I had the pleasure of working with Pat for many years at Chase Pitkin Irondequoit. I have so many fun memories, with Pat both at work and out. His strong sense of self was admired by all. My thoughts and prayers are with all of those he has left behind. Please find comfort in knowing Pat is no longer in any pain and is in a much better place.

As Alison's best friend of 21 years, I got to witness their relationship, his capability to love, and his devotion to his family. Our intellectual debates amused me since we usually ended up arguing for the same thing. These past few months, hearing about his reflection, strength, and acts of love were very moving. He will be very missed by those who loved him so much. To Pat's family especially, it is clear that he loved you so much and you were the center of his world. I have heard about you for years, and I am thinking about you all.

I met Pat in the 90's while we worked at CP, and continued to follow one another throughout our CP careers at various stores. He was such a genuine, funny, and honest man. He adored his family and friends ( boy you could see it when he talked about his neices and nephews) and took life one day at a time with a smile full of dimples. He made me laugh no matter what mood either of us were in. He will forever be missed. Patrick, I will have a bag of cracker jacks just for you.:)

I worked with Pat for a long time at Chase Pitkin. He was a funny guy with some very different looks on life. We had lots of fun talking about those looks on life. But, one thing for sure we knew about Pat, he loved his family very much and talked about his mom, and sister Cady, all the time. I hadn't seen him since CP closed, but he will be missed.
