Friends may call Wednesday, 4-8PM at the John J. Curran Funeral Home, 535 Oxford St. His funeral mass will be Thursday at 9:30AM at St. Boniface Church. Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

I had the pleasure of knowing Mr O'Dea as a neighborhood treasure, as well a haveing the privelidge of working with him at RG&E on Front Street.
Mr O'Dea was always smiling and always had a kind word for me.

Marge, so sorry to hear about your father. He was a great man. Every time that I watch my kids play baseball I remember your dad putting us through our paces up on Field St. Making us go after all those pop ups and fly balls in the field. Running and running after all those balls... It puts a smile on my face. He was like another dad to me all those years ago.
