Paul Meyer Obituary
Batavia: Paul A. Meyer, 97, of Batavia, formally of Oakfield passed away on Aug. 9th at UMMC in Batavia. He was born on Jan. 17, 1918 in Cowlesville to the late Oscar (Anna Ziegler) Meyer. He is preceded in death by his wife Belva (Montroy) Meyer. Survived by sons David (Pamela) of Batavia, Robert of Rochester; sisters Anne Smith of E. Aurora, Theresa Kinney of Strykersville; 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to call on Thurs. Aug. 13th from 4 to 8 PM at Gilmartin Funeral Home & Cremation Co, Inc. 329-333 W. Main St., Batavia, NY 14020. A 9:30 AM Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Fri. Aug. 14, 2015 at Resurrection Parish, 18 Ellicott St., Batavia, NY 14020. He will be laid to rest in St. Cecilia Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to www.ummc.org/foundation , Oakfield Fire Dept., 20 Albert St., Oakfield, NY 14125, E. Pembroke Fire Dept., 2623 Main Rd., Corfu, NY 14036 or donor's choice. I am proud to say that Paul Meyer was my Uncle. I will miss him a great deal especially at my clam stand in July.
