Your Loving Wife

November 5, 2008

To the Love of My Life,
Paul it's been 1 year since you left us.{Nov 2,08} My heart was taken away with you when you left. On your day, all of your children and grandchildren went down to the cabin and planted 2 pine trees and we all took turn walking your ashes to your resting spot. The hardest thing for me to do was to put you in a hole and watch your son, son-in laws cover you. It was if I lost you again............You were all that I wanted in my LIFE other than my beautiful children. We miss you so dearly. You will never be forgotten.
You live each and every day in my heart, soul, and mind. Thank you for the marriage made in heaven. Please wait for me, even though I might be a Behita when I get there.
I miss you with all my heart,
Love your Wife

Daddy,
One year has passed (11/2) since you left us here and continued your life in heaven. You are so deeply missed and loved. The one year that you have been gone, feels like a life time. You are sadly missed by all that loved you, but your memory will live with us forever.
I heard a saying that couldnt be more than perfect and it was as follows: "When a person you love becomes a memory, the memory than becomes a treasure".
There will never be a man more perfect, more loved and admired than you are.
I was blessed to have you in my life, even though it was for a short 30 years, but I will carry you in my heart and with me until the day we meet again.
All my love forever,
your daughter

Your Wife of 35 Years.

First Love

As a little girl, I looked up to you.
Walking in your footsteps was all that I knew.

The games we played,
the times we've shared.
You've shown in everything,
the way you've cared.

The older I got, the more I knew
the joy it was to be with you.
You've always been around for me
and always loved me unconditionally.

You've often shown me right from wrong
and taught me to be meek and be strong.
Your patience and your gentle care
was everlasting and always there.

A young lady I soon grew up to be
and academics I accomplished successfully.
With all your love and all your praise a successful woman you surely did raise.

Dad, in writing this I just wanted to say, how much I miss you and
how much I love you in every way.
You'll always be the king of my heart
because you were my first love from the very start.

Happy belated birthday daddy, you are missed by us all very very much.

Dear Paul,
You gave some very heartfelt advice from heaven. Yes, I will follow your words and help someone in sorrow and pain. Your presence while with us brought joy, laughs, love and warmth. We do miss you and know we will see you someday. Rest assured and in peace that your loving wife Diane is foremost in the hearts of your friends and her care is a loving gift from us to you.
Love,
Carla

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

The Love Of Your Life Your Wife

December 26, 2007

Paul,
THE LOVE OF MY LIFE,MY EVERYTHING
Words can not expressed how hard it has been without you. For 34 plus years, that we have been together you have always been the LOVE OF MY LIFE, Whe I cry, I wipe away your tears, When I breath, I feel your breath,When I walk I turn and there is nothing behind me.Your were everything that made me whole. During your illness I took care of you with all my heart. When we said, Till Death Do Us Part, I said it with my whole being. It is so hard not having you here with us.
The Holidays are going to be very hard without you. You have been the core of our family, and we miss you so very much. All of our friends miss you so very much. There is not a moment in the day that I don't think about you. When I leave for work in the morning I say, Bye honey, I love you. And when I come home, I say.....Honey I'm home. But there is no answer..I know you are here with me.Because I feel Your Love and Warmth. Please protect all of our children, and grandchildren. And also the new one on the way.I know that you have already seen that beautiful child. Bryanna, Domenico, and Louis always ask for you.
I go and watch Domenico play Hockey, and look up in the stands to see if you are there watching over him, but your not there. I know your with Domenico on the ice watching over him. He takes a part of you on the ice each time he skates.
Honey, Please know that no matter where I am THERE'S ALWAYS A PART OF YOU WITH ME.
Forever your Wife, The Love Of Your Life...........

With all of my love,
Alana

On Wednesday, July 25, 2007 we visited Paul at home. It was during this visit that Paul prayed to receive Christ as his Saviour. It is not what Paul did in his life that is so important now, though many of the other entries speak of the wonderful man Paul was, it is his faith in Jesus Christ that assures that he is with Christ in heaven this day. Truly, for Paul there is no more sorrow, no more pain, and death is swallowed up of life. God bless Paul and his family. Our prayers are with you.

Diane,Alana,Paul,Missy,and family:
We have lost a great friend and neighbor. We miss Paul deeply. What I will miss is when I would come over to visit, Paul would be in the garage or family room. When he would see me he would always say Aunt Joanne's hear. He would always come and sit with us over coffee. Diane you had a marriage not to many people have, cherish every memory and moment of it.
Elide and Enzo you should be very proud of Paul. You raised Paul to be a loving husband, caring dad and grandpa and a son that was always there for both of you.
Paul is at rest but will always be with us forever. With love the Orlando's

If you look up "neighbor" in the dictionary, the meaning is someone that lives in your neighborhood. However, if you look up "wonderful neighbor" you would find a picture of Paul. He was the best neighbor and friend anyone could ask for. We have lots of great memories that we and our children will remember always. We'll never forget you Paul. We expect to see you getting in or out of your truck everytime we look out the window. Heaven must be filled with trucks. We love and miss you. (Paul I am really lost. Your "buddy" Ben)

Hi Sag,

It's Saturday at 5am, only 2 weeks after you leaving us. I find myself thinking of you and your family constantly. I miss you so much and I hope you know that you're the best friend anyone could ever have. The empty feeling and heavy heart I'm carrying with me just won't go away. I hope that your Mom and Dad are getting stronger with each passing day, and of course Diane and the kids are also in our thoughts & prayers. I keep using the word "I" in this message, but it's my whole family I'm speaking for. We all love you buddy.

They say in life, that someone is truly lucky to have one true friend. Well, I guess we were all lucky to have you. Paul, you're gone, but not really. All of the wonderful times we all shared, no one cant ake that away. You made me laugh every time we were together. Our family outings together were so much fun. From picnics at Churchville, to baseball & hockey games with our sons, well, who could forget.

I could write endlessly. I know that you're doing fine Sag, and truly at peace. My family will always and forever stay close with Diane and the kids. We love them as much as ever and will not forget anyone of them. So, for now Paul, I guess I'll say goodbye. But I'm sure someday our spirits will reunite.

I love you Paul.
God bless you.

Dear Anthony,Alana,Domenico,Bryanna,
What a beautiful testimonial to your Dad ( PaPa ) by the show of those who came to show their respect. Although he left this world at such a young age his life will live on in his family and friends. In todays world you do not find such a warm and close family. I am proud that my son Anthony is part of this family and I have Alana for a daughter-in-law,and my grandchildren are a special blessing.

Diane, Alana, Paul and Missi,
The many memories we shared with Paul make this very difficult. Yet, we are SO thankful for those precious memories, and thankful for Paul, our dear friend. Our memories go way back...the exploding cake at our first apartment, the guys building the hunting cabin, and New Years Eve parties. Watching our children grow (remember 9 yr. old Alana and Gina painting Alana's room...to our surprise!), the hockey games, and taking Paulie, Philip and Carla hunting. I remember the "debates"/conversations we would have over coffee...always with a smile on Paul's face when he would get me going. And our guys "shared interests" ...if one got one, the other followed suit: the big trucks, 4 wheelers, snowmobiles and.... beagles! The week at the cabin for the opening of gun season was anticipated every year... not only to hunt but to feast on huge steaks, plenty of snacks and Enzo's specialties... not to mention the many laughs. Good times were shared by all.
Paul will always live on in our hearts- his spirit is alive in all of us. We love you all and are here for you- please remember that.
Love,
Linda and Phil

P.S. Paul, thanks for introducing me to K-Love radio station. I always knew you had an open heart. Rest in His peace.

Dear family of Paul Sagrafena: please know that I will always remember your loved one for his great sense of humor and the way he would needle me with a friendly smile; I never saw him in a bad mood actually. The respect he showed my family and to me was always appreciated. Need a favor and he was there to help. Simply put, a very good man who will always be missed by his loving family and the countless friends who loved and admired him. Peace Paul
