Paul Seifert Obituary
Hamlin: Devoted Father, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather passed away peacefully on Thursday March 23, 2017 at the age of 80. Predeceased by his wife of 50 years, Connie. He is survived by his sons Paul Jr. "PR" (Laurel) and Shawn, loving companion Daisy Porter, grandchildren Richard Seifert, Jillian (Christopher) Brown, Adeline Seifert, and Henry Seifert, 4 great-grandchildren Cassidy, Logan, Elia and Paige, siblings Shirley Gray, Beverly Sorce, Donna Pendley and David Seifert, also many nieces and nephews.
Paul volunteered with both the Hamlin and Brockport Fire Departments for over 50 years and was a charter member of the Brockport Ambulance Corp. He was a devoted member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Hamlin for 60 years.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday March 28 from 3-7 PM at the Fowler Funeral Home Inc., 340 West Ave., Brockport. Paul's funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 29 at 10 AM at St. John's Lutheran Church, 1107 Lake Rd., Hamlin. Interment will be held in Lakeside Cemetery in the spring. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may contribute to the Hamlin Fire Department or St. John's Lutheran Church.

My sincere condolences to the Seifert Family. Paul was always around the fire department while I was growing up. he was a rock and helped out family when we lost both my brother and father. He was a great man who enjoyed helping others and will be truly miseed.

Our family always enjoyed Uncle Paul's visits to Texas. Beverly and I were always envious of Paul and Connie's retirement travels to Florida, Texas and Los Vegas in their motorhome. Seemed like the perfect retirement life. Paul always kept us laughing with his sarcastic, picking on everyone, sense of humor. We are thinking of you all at this sad time, PR, Shawn, our Mom,(Donna Pendley), Shirley, Beverly, David, and Daisy (longtime companion) and all Paul's grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

It has been such a pleasure knowing Paul and also Connie for many years and doing their tax returns for 23 years. We will miss Paul, as he was such a nice person to everyone in our office.
What I will always remember about him is always looking forward to seeing him when the Hamlin Fire Dept. or auxiliary had the chicken bar b q and he would come to the car and give us ours and teasing him about the "good service". We will miss you.
