Pearl Thomas Obituary
Rochester: Friday, November 9, 2007 after an extended illness. Born in Ontario, Orange County, CA, lived in Rochester from age 3. Predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Edward G. Pearl and Eddie met while both were working at Hickcock Mfg. Co. Pearl went on to manage the Parking Authority at Strong Memorial Hospital, where she designed the permit system used at both Strong Memorial and U of R until after her retirement. An Avid birder, Pearl also loved iris, lilacs, music, good restaurants, and Godiva chocolates.
Survived by four daughters, three grandchildren, a brother-in-law, sister-in-law, and their children & grandchildren
Family and friends are invited to call TUESDAY, 2-4 PM at the Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Rd. Her Funeral Service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home immediately following calling hours. Private interment. We met Pearl at the Baird Nursing home and she was always pleasant and smiling. Our prayers are with the family during their time of sorrow. Be assured Pearl is in a much better place. Jim & Patti Muisus

To the girls of Pearl and Ed; Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time. This good friend of many years will surely be missed by all who knew her. She sure was a special person in my life, as well as was Ed. They are both together now and watching over their girls that were so special to them.
