Peter Mangano Obituary
Peter Anthony
Greece: Left us peacefully on February 18, 2017 at age 84, after a long journey with Alzheimer's Disease. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Barbara (Bovi) Mangano; daughters Karen (Arthur) Reynolds, Janet Mangano and Linda (Norbert) Koenig. He is also survived by his grandsons Daniel (Kathleen) Reynolds, Mark (Kayla) Reynolds, Matthew Reynolds, Adam Koenig and Phillip Koenig; his sister Susie Figlewicz and brother Alfonso (MaryAnn) Mangano; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He is predeceased by his sister Catherine.
Peter was a US Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict and served in Washington, DC. Peter's family would like to thank the entire staff at Latta Road Nursing Home West for their constant love, care and support over the last 2 ½ years.
Friends may call Wednesday (Feb 22nd) 4-7PM at Vay-Schleich and Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday (Feb 23rd) 9:30 AM at St. Lawrence Church. Private Entombment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Please omit flowers. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Rochester of the Finger Lakes (www.alz.org/donate) or Autism Speaks (www.autismspeaks.org). in his memory.
