Dear Smiley-- I will always remember how much fun we had working together -- and you always had a smile on your face (hence the nickname Smiley - I was the only one who called you that). I remember that one time I had a sore throat, we were working late and you gave me some blackberry brandy -- I felt no pain after that. You sang at our wedding ceremony and came to our small wedding reception at my mom & dads. You used to get so mad at small things at work and mumble about it- I would crack up and then you would laugh. When you wanted to go golfing, nothing would stop you.

You were kind and caring and laughed easily and often. You were a loyal friend and a family man. I just regret not keeping in touch with you.

I know you're singing and smiling down on us from heaven. God just gained an angel unlike any other. Thanks for the memories, Smiley.
