Priscillia Ekings Obituary
Rochester: December 24, 2013 at age 80. Predeceased by her husband J. Douglas Ekings and parents John R. and Alberta Watkins, She is survived by her sons Doug Ekings of Rochester, David Ekings (Mitsuko Uehara) of San Diego, California , Robert Ekings (Isabella Wagner) of Rochester, daughters Robyn Ekings (Greg Gambel) of Hendersonville, NC, Leslie Ekings (Jim Kinney) of Harvard, MA; sister Gwen Watkins of Los Gatos, CA, grandchildren Aidan Kinney, Alexandra Kinney; niece (Suzanne Phelan), nephew (John Rizzi), and many friends.
Priscilla was born in Lansford, Pennsylvania. She attended George School in Newtown, Pennsylvania, Wheaton College in Norton, MA, and the Katherine Gibbs School in New York City. As a young woman, she worked at the "Saturday Evening Post" in Philadelphia. Priscilla subsequently became a long time resident of Rochester, New York.
Priscilla was a lifelong fan & supporter of the arts, an avid reader, walker, and was known for her sense of humor, her strong spirit, and her enthusiasm for life.
