Richard Beale Obituary
Geneseo - August 26, 2019 at age 87 years. He was predeceased by his wife, Irene Beale in 2006. He is survived by his daughters, Jane (Charles) Fronk of Geneseo, Martha (Fred) Nicholson of Port Washington, NY, 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, sister, Nancy (Peter) Jackson of UT, Caretaker, Layla Morf of Dansville, many nieces and nephews.
No prior calling hours. Funeral Mass Thursday, 10 AM at St. Michael's Episcopal Church, 23 Main St. in Geneseo with Father Billy Daniel officiating. Interment, St. Michael's Memorial Garden. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Teresa House, 21 Highland Rd., Geneseo, NY 14454. To share a memory with the family or leave a condolence, please visit;

Such a lovely man. I was fortunate enough to spend a good amount of time with Richard and Irene when my former husband was his student at SUNY Geneseo. We always had a wonderful time together. I have a lovely pencil drawing of his of a Coast Guard Station.

I will treasure the last couple of visits with my Uncle many years ago before my Aunt passed. I'm glad my children got to meet him. He will be missed by many but I know his artistic talents will live on in myself and in my oldest son. Until we meet again......

Of the many artists I represented over a 40 year period, Richard Beale was certainly one of my favorites, for his gentle spirit and his amazing artwork. May he rest in peace.

Richard was a sensitive, gentle, gifted teacher, artist, poet, nature lover, music lover, my friend and mentor, and above all a deeply spiritual and philosophical soul who touched my life (and many others) in ways beyond words. I will miss him so much.
