Tim and Anthony, my condolences to you and your families. There are tears as I write this, for your father was my mentor when I started my career in the Fire Dept. I was lucky to get assigned to Eng. 2 in 1980 in one of the busiest firehouses in the city. The brotherhood, camaraderie, dedication were all characteristics of your father and what he invoked. I can still recall fondly the times when he would bring his two boys to the firehouse, and I knew then it was destined to be both your careers. Dicks friendship extended beyond the Fire Dept. as he was always there to help a friend in need. Thank you, dear friend, for the wonderful memories. Stare con Dio.
