Richard Malarik Obituary
Rochester: Passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2014 with his family at his side. He leaves behind his parents, Daniel and Diane, his brother, Daniel and special cousins. Richard was a dedicated son, a loving brother and treasured his family with much love, kindness and care. He worked for many years as a contract mechanical engineer. He enjoyed most his pets, nature, travel, art and music during his life. He was pilar of strength for his family and brought so much joy, laughter and love and will never be forgotten. We will miss him forever.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10AM Wednesday at St. John Evangelist Church, 2400 Ridge Rd, Greece. Private interment at the convenience of the family.

Richard, I will always carry fond memories of you. You were kind, gentle, funny, and intelligent. I will miss you terribly, and I am so sorry I didn't get to say goodbye. Mr. And Mrs. Malrik & Dan please accept my sincere condolences. Although I haven't seen Rich in years I was saddened to hear of his passing. I met Rich in 4th grade at Craig Hill and I will always remember him leaving candy on my desk :) Thinking of you all.

I will forever be saddened that I will not see my best friend again. We were inseparable from age 13 till 20. I have some of the best years of my life were memorable with Rich and the friends we had. Rich you will be missed but never forgotten.Someday we will see each other on the other side.You were a kindred spirit that I will cherish for a lifetime.

Rest in Peace Richard. I am a childhood friend of yours since Kindergarten at Craig Hill and you kept your spirit all the way till the end. I saw Richard at Ridgemont Plaza right after New Years Eve and he was full of the same enthusiasm for life as he was a teenager. Had no idea it would be the last time I would see him. Great memories of a lifetime. Condolence to the family.

I am sorry to hear the news. My condolences to the family. Richard was one of my most polite soccer players at Craig Hill. He never complained and always give it his best. I am saddened, and teary eyed by this news, God will open his Gates to Heaven for you. R.I.P. Richard.
