Robert Bird Obituary
Clifton Springs: Mr. Robert G. Bird Sr., age 76 died on Wednesday March 17, 2010 at Rochester General Hospital.
Friends may call on Sunday March 21, from 2-5 PM at the Cheney Funeral Home 70 Main Street Phelps. Funeral services will be held on Monday March 22, at 11 AM at the Clifton Springs United Methodist Church. A Masonic service will be held to begin the service. Military honors will be bestowed at the end. Private burial will be in the Port Gibson Cemetery.
It is suggested that in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made to Garoga-Sincerity Lodge #200 c/o Bob Ruggles, 1348 Griffith Road, Phelps, NY 14532 or Clifton Springs United Methodist Church, 1 E. Main Street, Clifton Springs, NY 14432.

Patty and the rest of the Bird family,
I just read of the passing of Mr. Bird. I only met him a few times but each time I was near him he was always pleasant and kind.
I wish I could be there to support you during this sad time however I am there in spirit as are many of the Midlakes community.
If there is anything I can do, please do not hesitate to ask.

Sadden by the passing of Bob, he and his family were our friends through Betty, Billy, Dick, John and Ed along with being my customer for newspapers so 55 years ago (can't believe it has been that lone). Mr. B was a wonderful man. YOur entire family has very good to me since I met Janet 26 years ago. He will be sorely missed. I am thinking of and praying for everyone.
