Dear Ruth and family,
Everyone who came to participate or enjoy Walnut Hill Driving Show knew the energy and enthousiasm exhibited by Your dearest partner, Bob. His presence made the experience magic. My mother and father, Helen and Charles Scott championed the sport as well and held Bob in highest regard. A toast will be made in his honor for years to come... My deepest sympathy for your great loss and a cheer to heaven for welcoming the light of many people to shine for us all above.

Dear Ruth and family, There are no words adequate enough to express the sadness that I feel over Bob's passing. He was more than an inspiration--more like an institution. I first knew Bob as a horseshow photographer, going back close to 60 years ago. Then came Walnut Hill and nearly 40 years to really get to know both of you. A bright light and brilliant mind have left this world. To say that he will be missed is far too trite. To lose Bob and Ed Young in the same 2 months is very hard to deal with. I'm am incredible happy that we have one of, what I expect is, one of the last whips that he made. It will be treasured even more! May God bless you and the rest of the family and grant you comfort.

Dear Ruth and family, Paul and I are saddened by the passing of Bob. He was a very special man of many talents and so kind and interested in everyone and everything. Such a pleasure to sit and talk with him. One could learn so much! We will cherish our walking sticks that Bob hand crafted. They sit by our back door and we think of Bob as we pass them everyday! What a great reminder of a talented, friendly and cheerful person! We will miss his smile and the twinkle in his eye. We send our condolences and love to you and your family. May God's peace be with you.
