Rocco Benedetto Obituary
East Rochester: Age 91. Friday, July 31, 2009. Survived by loving wife for over 60 years, Carmella; 3 children, Nick (Jane) of San Antonio, TX, Louie of East Rochester, Augustina (Wayne) King of Fairport; 6 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Rocco was a member of East Rochester American Legion Post 1917 and proudly served in the Army in WWII.
Friends are invited to meet Monday 11 A.M. at the entrance of White Haven Memorial Park, where we will precede to All Saints Chapel for his Service. Arrangements entrusted to
TROIANO FUNERAL HOME INC.

Over many years and across great distances, my relationship with my father was limited to telephone conversations. He shared with me his great joy about his friendships, his various awards and responsibilities with the American Legion. I saw him as a very contented man who was well loved by everyone. I am a man of faith and know that good people join our Lord. I am certain that he has joined our Lord and I am very happy for him.

Benedetto Family,
On behalf of the Fairport Rd. Wegmans, we have missed seeing Rocco over the last few months. He was what you would call a "regular" at our store for many years. Whenever a new store manager was brought in, Rocco would think nothing of walking right in to his/her office and introducing himself. He always had a smile for every employee. The Fairport Rd store will miss him!!

To the Benedetto Family:
We have many fond memories of Uncle Rocco (as we called him) of spending New Year's Eve at Fred and Sue's house. And we can't forget our many talks in Wegmans and the jokes he would tell us. Even though we moved to Florida we never forgot him. Our prayers and thoughts are with you at this time.
