Ronald Blaessig Obituary
Webster - Surrounded by his family on Monday, December 28, 2020 at the age of 58, after a courageous battle with esophageal cancer. Ron is survived by his loving wife, Michelle; parents, Ronald and Anna Mae; sons, Ronald J. (Regina), and Daniel Blaessig; step-daughter, Hannah (Greg Werner) Seniuk; sisters, Lisa Slade, and Laura Blaessig; brother-in-law, Steve (Sharon) Ryan; sister-in-law, Cathy Monson; many nieces and nephews.
His family will receive friends Tuesday, January 5, 4-7pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Highway So.). Interment Private. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Wilmot Cancer Institute, 300 East River Road, P.O. Box 278996, Rochester, NY 14627. For many years, Pat Proietti, Ron, and Leslie created embroidered hats, golf shirts, and printed t-shirts for Stuart Horse Trials and GVRDC Horse Trials. No matter what I asked for or how many changes I made, Ron always met the pressure with that warm engaging smile of his. So sorry he went so soon.

Dear Ron and Anne,
The loss of any son, especially Ron, is an unimaginable pain. In time we know you will feel comforted by the memories of his love for life, for both of you and for his family. While we never met Ron or Michelle, we can see from the video he was a kind and accommodating person and will be badly missed by all who knew and loved him.

I knew Ron growing up from school. He fought a courageous battle. I’m so truly sorry that he wasn’t able to beat the cancer in the end. I could tell that he loved Michelle and his family very much. Please accept my heartfelt condolences.

We worked side by side for over 20 years and shared many laughs together.
Such a shame that he didn't come to know "old age" like so many of us have been lucky enough to realize.
