Shirley Chakov Obituary
Greece: Passed away on May 27, 2011 at age 85. Predeceased by her husband, Max and parents, Morris & Adele Saperstone. She is survived by her loving daughter, Deborah Donahue; grandchildren, Jason Winters and Ashley White; great grandson, Maxwill Winters, sisters, Trudy (Albert) Sheinfeld, Gloria (Ernest) Beren; sister-in-law, Anne Kosoff and step-mother, Ethel Saperstone; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Shirley worked for many years in women's fashions and will be remembered for her devotion to family and love of people.
Graveside Services will be held on SUNDAY at 10 AM in Britton Road Cemetery. Following the funeral, the family will receive friends from 2-4 PM at 63 Sonora Parkway. Donations may be made to a charity of one's choice in her memory. To leave a message of condolence, please visit:

Dear Shirley, I know from up in heaven you are looking down and blessing your loving daughter who is also your best friend in life. I am so glad to have known you all of these years and accepting your nick name as the "Pope" and "Sylivia Fine" You will always hold a special place in my heart as a family-oriented and loving, strong woman. You will always be remembered for your love, compassion, and devotion to your family. I will always remember your strong will to fight, even when you were suffering. Your memory will never fade away. You are now in heaven where all your pain is gone. I know you are looking down on us. Don't worry, as I will be here to take care of your little girl...just as she took care of you...
