Rochester: Passed on 10/31/15 at age 54. Survived by her six children, Keyvin, Monique, Nimora "Chris", Sonya, Tanya and Bishop; her husband, Ellis Prior; 12 grandchildren; mother, Barbara Chatman; 2 brothers; 2 sisters; and 2 special friends, Cassandra "Smookey" and Angela.
Visitation will be on Sunday, November 8, 2015 at Cathedral of Hope Community Church, Bishop W.F. Davis Jr., 1089 Joseph Ave. from 6PM - 9PM Funeral Service, November 9, 2015 11AM Same Location. Interment Riverside Cemetery.

Ms. Simone, you were such a beautiful woman with a good heart & so caring. We connected the first time we met & it was so sad to hear about your passing but your good friend came to my pharmacy to give me the news & we both cried. It was an honor to meet Mama Barbara as you introduced me to her & hearing her tell me how much I was cherished by Simone. It touched my heart & I gave her a big hug & gave my condolences as I paid my respects to the family. Your memory will prosper & know in spirit my dear, you touched everyone's heart in a special way. My deepest sympathy to the Chatman family. Simone (Monkey) was a good friend with my sister Doris Blue that's how I got to know her, she was a fun loving and exciting person. So I know your pain. So chariest the memories that you have of your Daughter, Mother, and Sister. Trust God He will help you through it all, I know because I tried Him myself. Look towards the hills which cometh your strength, Monkey is resting in her Fathers arms.
