Honeoye Falls: January 20, 2015 Suddenly, while looking out at the ocean on Negril beach in Jamaica. Survived by his wife, Coreen (Reenie Huff) Merdak; Children Kyra & Jesse; Mother, Anastasia; Brother Walter (Fran); Many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his Father and Sister.
His celebration of life will be held over the Summer.

Dear Renee & children, I am devastated tonight. I went to look for Steve on FB and saw this info , at first I thought it was a joke. OMG... We went to Curtis and hung out on Jersey street way back in the sixties. I am so, so sorry and so sad to lose a friend with such wit and talent. ?

Reenie, you and Steve had something people wait a life time to find..he is still with you in every sunrise. .in every sunset..in every rain drop, he just walked ahead of us all on this journey we call life. Steve was an awesome Husband, Father and Son and he will surely be missed. We pray to God to open his arms and welcome and protect your love..until you meet again. Praying for you Reenie and your family daily.
