Steven Kassirer Obituary
Montague, MA - Unexpectedly on October 22, 2018, at the age of 53. Predeceased by his father Philip. Survived by his loving mother, Bernice Kassirer; siblings, Alan (Kathy) Kassirer and Shari (Sean) Murphy; nieces & nephews, Brenna (Zach), Patrick (Jess), Alan, Ken and Mandy (Dave); 6 great-nieces & nephews; uncle, Jerry (Sheridan) Kassirer; aunts, Marilyn (Stanley) Kassirer-Wayne and Gail Spitulnik; special friends Tracy and Dan; other family & many loving friends. A special thank you to the wonderful Irondequoit Police Department and the New York State Police in Oneonta.
A Memorial Service will be privately held. The family will receive friends on FRIDAY, November 2, 2018 from 6-9 PM at 299 Scholfield Road in Irondequoit. Donations may be made to a charitable organization of your choosing in Steve's memory.

Steve was a kind soul, passionate and mentor/leader to his classmates in law school and in his profession. He will be dearly missed but never forgotten. His infectious laugh highlighted some of the best times of our lives. Rest easy Steve...

My deepest sympathies to the family , he was an amazing man even when he was tired and grumpy. He would show up after a hard day at school or work. Always willing to carry the message of recovery .He always had a kind and encouraging word for others in the rooms. His encouragement helped to continue my college education. His hope ,faith , and love helped on the path of recovery. I was always hold him close to my spirit and deep on my heart. Bless you all in this time of sadness.
