Steven T.
Greece: August 28, 2013. Predeceased by his father-in-law, Andrew Oliveri. Survived by his wife of 29 years, Andrea; sons, Jason & Matthew; parents, Frank & Helen McGuckin; brother and sisters, Dan (Margie) McGuckin, Karen (Steve) Catone, Kathy (Glen) Reed, Lori (John) Eisenberg, Kelly (Patrick) Walsh; mother-in-law, Rose Oliveri; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Joseph (Peggy) Oliveri and Karen (Frank) Orrico; many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Friday 4-8 PM at the funeral home, 777 Long Pond Road (between English & Latta). Funeral Mass, 10 AM Saturday at St. John the Evangelist Church (Greece). Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Wilmot Cancer Center.
The benefit for Steven McGuckin will still be held on September 8th.

Andrea, I ask how you and your family are when I talk to my sisters occasionally. We all liked Steve and still think the best of him. I knew him since Jr. high and never had a bad thought about him. When people that knew Steve remember him, they can't help but have a smile on their faces doing so. I hope you and your family are doing well. Take care.

I'm deeply saddened to hear about Steve. I had the pleasure of working with him on one project for the Rhinos, and looked forward to working with him again. He's a top-notch man who will be missed by all, and certainly by me.

Always thought Steve was so handsome, had a childhood crush on him, then found out he was my cousin through marriage! We grew up together, went through K-12, graduated OHS together... He was also a great drywall 'expert' having finished off my first home with perfection! God bless you Steve. God bless your family. May all good memories sustain; you will be together again!

We are so sorry about Steve. We will always remember him carrying around the kids in their carrier around his neck when they were babies doing whatever needed to be done. Riding his motorcycle, cutting the lawn, playing with the dog.... Lots of fond memories.

Steve will be remembered well of his good nature and seeing the humor in things. He held a unique perspective on life that allowed him to be decisive while also considerate of those around him.
