Thomas Joseph Fobia

Rochester - Thomas Joseph Fobia, 76 yr, passed away on May 25, 2021 in Rochester, NY.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at New Life Assembly 64 Calkins Rd. Henrietta, NY June 14 at 5:30 PM. There will be repass immediately following at the church.

Tom was born in Shamokin, PA to George Robert Sr. and Elizabeth Delores Fobia on Oct 13, 1944. He went to Our Lady Of Lourdes Regional High School and graduated 1962. After high school he entered the Army and served his 3 yr active duty tour in Philadelphia, Pa. He then moved to Rochester, NY and worked for Kodak for 29 yrs. He enjoyed playing the guitar and piano, water color art, sketching, creating 3D photos and converting old 8 mm movies to digital for family.

Tom is survived by: wife Toni Rae Fobia, Rochester, NY, stepson Jason Leydig (Naomi). Siblings: Peter (Lorene) Fobia, Celeste Fobia, George Fobia Jr. and Rochelle Fobia. Our littles: Jeremy and Jaden Leydig. Nieces and nephews: Bethany (Courtney) Scott, Nathan Fobia, Christina (Ron) Herb, George Fobia III, Tony Fobia and Matthew Fobia. He is preceded in death by his parents George Sr. and Elizabeth Fobia.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to New Life Assembly (music ministry) 64 Calkins Rd. Henrietta, NY 14623.

Tom will certainly be missed by many. He is one of the nicest and honest men anyone could know. He was a dear customer always friendly and a caring person. A man of god and i am proud to have known him.
