Sgt. Thomas E.
Rochester: January 30, 2017 at age 58. Sgt. Shaw was a 21 year veteran of the City of Rochester Police Department and a veteran of the US Army. He will be forever cherished by his wife, Shelia James; daughter, Dr. Chanel (Damian) Garcia; grandson, Jaxon; father, Thomas Shaw, Sr.; brother, Michael Shaw; sisters, Sherion (Kenneth) Zachary and Marie Shaw; father and mother-in-law, Benjamin and Lerline James; many other relatives and friends.
Celebration of Life, Saturday, February 4, 2017, 12PM (visitation will begin at 10AM), Antioch Baptist Church, 304 Joseph Ave. Interment, Falls Cemetery, Greece, NY.

Officer Shaw was a wonderful man. He was a great police officer during his tenure with RPD. I am saddened at his passing. The community loved Officer Shaw. He was kind to many. Thank you for your services over the years. Rest in Peace man of valor.
