Pittsford: Age 50 met his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, December 24, 2013. Loving Dad to Erika Sobol. Survived by his mother, Judith L. Sobol; sister, Deborah C. (David W.) Sobol Forrest; niece Samantha; nephews David and Andrew. Tom was preceded in death by his Dad, Thomas E. Sobol.

Thank you to all of Tom's friends and other family members for their help and love in this difficult time. Tom would have done the same for others.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, 11 AM at Church of the Transfiguration, 50 W. Bloomfield Rd., Pittsford. The family will receive friends and family at church following the Mass. In lieu of flowers a benefit account has been set up for Erika at Bank Mutual, 8780 South Howell Ave., Oak Creek, WI 53154. I can´t believe it´s been 10 years since Tom´s passing. I remember him proudly making an omelet for me one Sunday morning. He whipped the eggs and added special cheese and spices. It was absolutely incredible! I tried to copy his methods but never quite got it! I also remember the first Christmas that he was at my house and his daughter, Erika, was coming to join our celebration. I had a fake tree, nice, but still fake. Tom went out and got us a real tree that year! And he helped decorate! We had a wonderful time with Erika!

I worked with Tom at Barnaby's when we were all in high school. I have many fond memories of those years and of Tom, He was so cute and nice. I had a major crush on him. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

I had the pleasure to work with Tom at Sodexo. great man he was. so sorry to hear of his passing. the one thing that sticks out in my mind is the love for his daughter Erika. U were always pleasent at work never down always happy. when we go back believe me u will be missed. my deepest sorrow to ur family..

This is just such sad news. I had the pleasure of working with Tom many years ago at Kodak . We had recently reconnected on FB Tom was a special person always positive and friendly. I could tell from his posts that he adored his daughter Erika. Heaven just got another Angel. Rest in Peace.

Tom lived at my house for the past year and a half. He was always happy!! He never spoke ill of anyone. He loved his daughter, Erika, so much and spoke about her often. He was happiest when he was going to one of her basketball games or other events or when she came over for a visit! I'm going to miss him very much. My thoughts and prayers go out to Erika, his mother, Judith, and the rest of his family.

I worked with Tom at Sodexo for a all too short of a time. We carried on many conversations and we truly became friends. He often spoke of his daughter, Erica, and she meant the world to him. Our friendship was not a long one but one of quality. He was a good man, with good friends, and we enjoyed the times we got to work together. I am saddened by his departing our world but am joyous that he will be in a much better place.

I went to high school with Tom. We reconnected on Facebook. He shared some good recipes w/ me and good "life advice". My heart goes out to his family, especially his daughter - he loved her like crazy!
